Research Group
The “ParTeR” (Participatory Teaching and Research) University Table is configured as a space for discussion and coordination on participatory research and citizen science themes at the University of Parma. The initiative, result of the rectoral delegation “Teaching activities as collective research”, stems from the need to enhance and network the various participatory research experiences already present in the University, promoting an approach to scientific co-production of teachers and students in dialogue with the widespread knowledge of civil society.
Main objectives
- Promoting dialogue between different disciplines and participatory research methodologies.
- Developing interdisciplinary projects that actively involve teachers, students, citizens and local communities.
- Sharing best practices and methodological tools for participatory research.
- Strengthening the bond between university and territory through knowledge co-production processes.
The Table sees the participation of teachers and researchers from different University Departments, with competencies ranging from social sciences to natural sciences, testifying to the interdisciplinary vocation of the initiative. The group’s activities are articulated through periodic meetings for methodological discussion and planning of joint initiatives.
